Customers

LicenseSpot also serves as central repository of your customers giving you instant information about the licenses acquired by a user and what is the serial number. This allows you to quickly verify their licensing status.

With customers you can:

• Search by name, last name and email address
• Enter customer information like country, company name, address, etc.
• See a list of licenses assigned to a customer
• Have the ability to resend an email to the customer with the license information.

There’s no limit on the amount of customers that can be added in LicenseSpot and every time a license is created (either via the UI or the API) a customer needs to be specified.
Also to keep in mind is that when an email goes out using the email templates features, the email information is taken from the customer record so it’s a good idea to keep this information up to date.
